shell login brute force attempts
 

Im getting a lot of these trying to login to shell accounts...anyone know of an opensource program that will block IP addresses after a few failed login attempts? Im not talking http logins here Im talkin FreeBSD shell login attempts.

Creating a solid iptables configuration should do the trick. Limit the connections down to your IP for ssh, etc.
