I got an offer for 6k today and an offer for 4k in Feb. How much is this thing really worth? Should I hold out for more?

If I posted my domains that are similar to that one I'd be flamed and told they're worth nothing.

Lease it to them with an option to buy.

Domains like that are hard to value - on the surface it's not that great of a domain and I wouldn't think it gets many type ins per month

That said, it could be a good domain for anyone who's building a chat network and is attempting to gather as many relative domains as possible. You'd hate yourself if you sold it for 6K now - only to find out the buyer was a representative of Google and 1.5 years from now broadtalk.com is their flagship domain for an incredibly large network :)

well, i'm K-Man so i get away with it more than you ;-) and i just had seth warshavsky on the phone telling me it was worth way more but may as well sell if there's a hot buyer on the hook... so there has to be something about this domain... shrug... i just sold it so this thread is moot.

ya this guy's name i found in the news as a big technology guy from ireland and he's into VOIP stuff, so i assume he's making a Skype rival... i sold it to him for 6k, i just paid a couple months of rent, yipeeeeeeeeee =)
