Took 12 miuntes. There are definitely MORE clubs in Toronto, but I will say, even though I am a hardcore Torontonian, people in Montreal are nicer to you when you are out.

Not to mention in club-land on the weekend its mostly 905ers.. which sucks.

Blue Eyes 08-24-2005 08:16 AM

kmanrox 08-24-2005 08:22 AM

hm as a matter of fact thats the only reason i've ever gone to any of the countries i've ever been to ... shrug

StuartD 08-24-2005 08:24 AM

I hate visiting Canada.

t.Dot 08-24-2005 08:24 AM

central ontario is fine this time of year. there are many places that wealthy, god-fearing pornographers could visit.

t.Dot 08-24-2005 08:26 AM

montreal is soooooo old europe. toronto is the heartland of the new world.

SAM SIYC 08-24-2005 08:27 AM

[CG] 08-24-2005 08:40 AM

going back to the TO/MTL rivalry.. for you out of towners, THAT HAVE come to both.. whats your opinion?

Ive been to both & they are actually pretty diffrent scenes.. personally Im a MTLer at heart & LOVE it here & going out here.

There was one bar in Obitokeoekskewhatever that was under our hotel that I had a total BLAST in one time, but other than that the MTL nightlife is crazy.

Id love to hear what the 'outsiders' think :winkwink:

Sure thing Steve :thumbsup GTS is about 2 miles down the road.

The other big companies are about 45 minutes away, in Toronto.

Anyone visiting Vancouver drop a line :)

Brad Gosse 08-24-2005 10:58 AM

I am working with the town right now to have them rename it "Porangeville" because so many of us live here AND we represent most of the taxes paid here lol.

I'm a New Yorker, but right across the lake. As a taxpayer in the City of Rochester, I guess I have a right to call this my boat.

Toronto is under 2 hours from me now.

Frank The Tank 08-24-2005 11:19 AM

i will sep 13th 19th toronto

kaori 08-24-2005 11:30 AM

I've been living in Montreal for the past 2 years.. It's definately much nicer to visit than Toronto, but, worse to live in..
You'll find a lot of 'attitude' here... People just aren't as nice when you're out of the tourist areas...
plus it's dirtier - walk down St. Catharine's at night, and look at all the garbage blowing around, all the spit on the sidewalks, and all the cigarette stubs jammed in the corners..
YUCK!

but it is a much better place to go for a week or two :)

kaori 08-24-2005 11:32 AM

BTW, I much prefer Calgary :) Especially with it's proximity to the mountains..

Odie 08-24-2005 11:37 AM

Montreal is nice to visit but I wouldn't live there. I would get bored very quickly asthere are only a few places that I go to when I'm there.

davis 08-24-2005 11:39 AM

i am!

... but i live here, so...

Office_Gnome 08-24-2005 11:53 AM
