ookay, looking at my past 50 sales
i've noticed that the ugliest most amateur looking designs converted WAY better than my galleries with "professional" style design.

why? maybe the "amateur" sloppy layouts makes the site seem like it is actually designed and run by a human rather than some large corporation that won't give 2 shits about the surfer if they have questions?

yeah, OR you used crap pictures in the 'professional' designs, and interesting ones in the sloppy ones.

thehun accepts , backgrounds and thumbs, no fancy shit, been submiting those for years, always got accepted.

its not the fancy graphics, its how you market the site. both kinds work in different situations depending on the actual gallery.

a gallery only pulls clicks, and is made to make the surfer go to the paysite.... did you promote the same paysite on the good and on the bad templates?

I have a nice professionally looking template design for shemale movie galleries but i have really bad sales from it. After reading this thread I decided to simplify it and make it as amateur looking as possible and see whether it will sell better.

I think there is a lot of truth to it. Surfers want REAL --not phony.

seems that tgps and surfers like simple designs rather than pushing the surfer. no one likes a salesman shoving it down their throats :)

Which would help to prove the hypothesis that it's the content, not the design that makes the sale.
