Do you really make money by referring webmasters?

First, some people say you shouldn't ever share your best converting sponsor to everyone. However, they have a "best converting" sponsor in the signature.

Secondly, I use Spacedogs "webmaster resource" as an example: in the board he states that sponsor A dont convert shit. But when you check out his resource page, surprise, sponsor A has "high conversions".

And I'm not talking about big buys' resource sites here, but small potatoes who try to refer bad sponsors.

Summary: I wonder how many is making big money by referring people to sponsors that they dont even use themselves because they know they suck?

I do use them...

I just had a bad feeling of something & I will be removing that sponsor from my list once I get the host to fix the FTP....

They will become my 4th blacklisted sponsor...

And so far, they seem to be the ONLY bad sponsor on my webmasters site....

Just out of curiousity, how much traffic you send to a sponsor before you decide it doesn't convert?

This sponsor, on average 120 clicks a day..every day for the last few months..
ARS I convert 1:44 overall with 1:3 per site..
so I expect that it shouldnt be too difficult to convert other sponsors....

Oh, & the reason I feel that this sponsor dont convert good is because they give out FREE trials which you dont get paid for, & it's recurring, so.. figure out the rest from there..

because only the sites that make sales are 1:3

some of them are 0:120
others are 0:10 etc..
get the idea..

1 only make 1 sale a week.. I send very little traffic..
