Thanks.. Yes, it's javascript and PHP.. Although I can't take all the credit for it.. I used a standard JS class for some of it..

What browser did you use?

It definitly works!

Scotty.T 08-23-2005 09:50 AM

Works for me in both Firefox 1.0.6 and IE 6.02.

Couldn't resize from edges only corners don't know if that is what you planned.

Also 'crop' text is half off the bottom of the button. Other than that cool. :thumbsup

Thanks..

The "Crop" text on the button doesn't matter that much.. the final interface will not look like this..

The resize part.. When holding shift down you should be able to resize the cropping area by dragging anywhere inside the cropping area.. Maybe I misunderstood you..

OK it looks like it is working the way you designed it. What I meant though was. You are restricted to a fixed proportion.

dready 08-23-2005 10:07 AM

Morten, it worked great in Firefox and IE.

Oh.. Yes.. It's set up to be restricted that way.. I need it to be able to use 4-5 different proportions.. :-)

sfera 08-23-2005 10:19 AM

Raven 08-23-2005 10:20 AM

Dalai lama 08-23-2005 10:21 AM

the quality isnt any good

dready 08-23-2005 10:23 AM

I would make it so you can drag from the edge of the crop area to enlarge, the middle to drag, and double click to crop.

mortenb 08-23-2005 10:23 AM

Thanks all.. It has a few problems in OSX, but that doesn't really matter to me.. The actual user of this script will only run Windows systems..

Thanks for all your time and help..

If you mean the quality of the cropped image then no. I set it up to return a low quality image to speed things up while I am testing it..

PussyTeenies 08-23-2005 10:34 AM
