I'm back from the Lamborghini dealer [AWESOME PICS]

The Gallardo looks absolutely amazing in person. These pics don't do the car justice! I'm pretty tall but could sit in it comfortable.

I'm curious about some experiences of Gallardo owners. Anyone got anything to add about the Gallardo? Hows the e-gear for example? Manual seems so much more fun...

Why I like the Gallardo more than the Murcielago? Murcie is very width (2.05 metre) and it's just too expensive over here so I didn't even bother asking about that car.

I agree seems everyone has a yellow one.. Now don't get me wrong a lambo in just about any color would still look good. However I think the black ones look the best.

justsexxx 08-23-2005 09:20 AM

Damn, what am I doing wrong that you can buy such car in The Netherlands:)

Feel free to dump the 350z here. I will take care of it. :)

Hi,
I have a Pearl Yellow Gallardo with a stick and I LOVE IT! I have had it for 18 months now and I still never get tired of looking at it. I am waiting on the Spyder version of it which should come out within a few more months then I will trade this one up. Here is a pic of me next to my Gallardo and my brothers 6.0 taken a few months ago. Then another pic of just me and the G taken a couple weeks ago.

Gorgeous ride! And the fact that it still excites you after 18months says it all.

It's like my arena red 911turbo.Everytime I open the garage i just stand there for a second and smile.

I've been looking at G's for a couple of months now,and haven't found the right car yet.But I am enjoying the hunt.

Yeah its an amazing car to drive. I prefer the 6 speed over the Egear in these kinds of cars. My brother prefers the Egear/F1 Transmissons. Its all a matter of preference. The Murci is out of this world. I love the new Murci roadster. Did they have a Mucri roadster at that dealership that you went to? Which dealership was that?

Louis

No, they only had 2 Murci's - the grey one and the yellow one. I'm from the Netherlands so you probably don't know the dealership but it's www.hessing.nl

We have only 1 official Lambo dealership in the NL :Oh crap

What's the point of investments if you don't enjoy the fruit of your labor?

You can't drive land!

yes of course I know that dealership. Please tell Dennis in sales that Louis from the US said hello. HAHAHA just joking, I do not know of that dealership, but do not worry I live in Michigan and my closest dealership is 300 miles away in Chicago, Ill. There is one in Ohio I hear, but I am still waiting on those guys to call me back from about 5 phone calls I put into them back in 2003. I hear they might be building one here in Michigan which would make things easier.

Why would I be interested in a car I know for sure is just too expensive? I set my goals high but not too high.

well thats a different animal altogether. I never said that I put all of my profits into this car. I have plenty of investments which include raw land, residential and commercial properties along with stocks, bonds, etc... So I agree with your statement 100%, but keep in mind you have to enjoy yourself too and as long as this is just some your money and not anywhere near all of your money then its justified IMO.

Azlord 08-23-2005 10:15 AM

I'd hate to even get the oil changed in that car! Must be like 2k just for that!!

LOL... its actually free except you must pay for the oil and any other parts like oil filters. The labor is free. However, my problem is because there is no local dealership, I must have it shipped to Chicago each time and back and that is very costly. Good news is it only needs an initial inspection change at 1500 miles, then the next is at 7500miles so its not too too bad.

Damn, this one is actually pretty close to where I live (like everything in the NL compared to the USA). It's like 50 miles so that's not too bad.

I hate it when dealerships don't return calls :( There's already 2 dealerships I never visit again because of it.

I think it's pretty frequent. How much miles do you drive it per month?

And also curious, you have this car, and another one, more comfy, or only this one?

edit: No I re-read ONLY sounds stupid, I wish I had one, but you get the point:)

I'm looking for a new car too. I wanted to testdrive it, and they were making sooooooooooo much problems of it....They asked, if I could pay for the car, if I even had the money etc...

I took the testdrive, loved the car, and will buy it at another dealership.
