i have a friend on her webcam right now and I want to record it - What is the best way to do it?

Go to Microsoft.com and download Windows Media Encoder. It's free and you can pretty much capture what you want to capture with it once you get familiar with how it works.

Just be sure to get the relevant 2257 information so the DOJ doesn't come down on you.
