god I hate epass sometimes
> Dear Accountholder,
> > ePassporte closely monitors your account to ensure that your funds are > protected from fraudulent use. We previously notified you that the > cumulative amount of funds in your account had reached USD $5,000.00 . > As a security measure and for your protection, we requested that you > provide us... Now I get to email them my id AGAIN...then deal with their callcenter AGAIN, until someone notices my threads here and decides to go in and fix it... I guess its not enough that I spent in the tens of thousands last year on refilling my epassporte cards... Is there an epassporte alternative out there? I will gladly pay higher fees to avoid the epass idiocy. |
they automatially block you when you reach $5k
just send an email (with a scan of your id) and ask to raise the limit. |
this is perfectly natural procedure imo for their protection and yours too
|
iluvasians read rules of epassporte
|
wouldn't be so bad if it was the first time...I did over $30k through epass last year in my personal account, and for some reason, at random intervals, I get this...

The things I hate most are the little things.
Cat hair in my coffee cup, insomnia... |

Anyone have the contact information for someone in the account verification department? Apparently although they can shut me off in .004 seconds, it takes 2 days or so to think about turning me back on...they must earn good interest on the money sitting or something...

Try contacting:

the saga continues...was promised a call back from Shaliza, but that failed to materialize...Sent all of the required docs (again, as all the times before) and today got a notice (24 hours later) that they had received my documents.
So I called the CS, and the supervisor says that I can now start counting down to an 'up to 1 week' due diligence process. These people already have my ID, passport, SS#, all of my addresses, phone numbers, emails, IM names...what more could they need for due diligence? Isn't there supposed to be a benefit to the epassporte system? It is harder to use than any bank account I have...it used to be so easy...what happened? Oh well...if there are any responsible people at epassporte that happen to read this, you might still be able to salvage a customer that pays the $50/$1000 fee at least 5-6 times per month...I know its not a lot, but you would win my eternal gratitude as well. |
I love it when you try using the card or even the virtual number at some of the finer online retailers just to be told they don't accept cards from banks in the netharlands.
Classic. |
Sorry that it took me a while to reply to this, but I have been offline for a few hours.
Your issue is valid and I am sorry you have had a problem. I can assure you however that posting is not driving our making a change or fixing an issue or problem. We have very strict guidlines, policies and proceedures and we follow them for the protection of everyone. When an account has an aggregate of $5K loaded, we are required, to be compliant with The Patriot Act, etc... to have more identification. Sometimes it takes some time to authenticate the data, sometimes the data emailed or faxed is unclear. We do not make money or friends when we block accounts and we don't do that lightly. I hope this clears things up. Please email me if you have other questions. C |
I'm having a problem too...
I sent $300 Epass to Epass and the transaction failed for some reason (connection?) GTS (who I sent it to) don't see the money in thier account yet my money was taken from my account and is pending.... sent my third email this morning :( |
Epass was a pain in the ass to originally setup and since our first transaction was over $5K we pretty much hit all of the hurdles right at the beginning. But I have to say that after the first month or so things have been running very smoothly and Im overall very pleased.
It sucks, but hopefully the time spent doing more business will be worth the hassle. :thumbsup :thumbsup |
What if account was created by affiliate program? There are no credit card attached from which funds are loaded, so its doesnt need to be verified. Will epassporte block in this case? Its only used to receive and cash affiliate payments + internal transfers.

I spoke to Shaliza and told her this same thing about 5 hours ago...she said she fixed it and was going to call me right back. I am guessing that the 'right back' part was just like the 'fixed' part, because I am here with no callback and nothing fixed.
Chris, I understand that you must abide by the 'know your customer' rules. My point is that you can't really get to know me any better than you already due without some nude photos or spending the night over. You have, and have had since I went through this with Rand, my SS#, ID, Passport, etc... It used to happen like this just when I would travel. It used to be that when I went to my home in South America, that I would have to call and verify everything again each time. Look at my records, please...you will see I have been through all of this several times. Anyways, still waiting here. |
never had a problem with epassporte they are rock solid in my book...
|
yeah i'm not the biggest fan of epass either, paypal all the way
|
I cant see all the transactions in epass! I go to see my online statement and i can see like the newest transactions i made. Like i cant see the really old transactions. Even if i click "Show More Transactions" nothing happens.
Anyone elce? This is a really small problem. Epass rules though. :thumbsup |
