For those who have never read the books maybe it sucked.
That movie was awesome and it deserves all the awards.

Hey! I just started playing 3rd edition rules and I'm 32! I won't go into my love of Warhammer and Gamma World...

I played a pretty long 3rd edition campaign with some friends... but it was only supposed to be a short campaign to learn the rules - in preparation for NEVERWINTER NIGHTS! - but ended up dragging out longer. I felt like a dork agreeing to do it, but ended up having a lot of fun. (I'm 26, by the way)

Moulin Rouge was dumb, I thought. It deserves maybe a cinematography nomination, but that's it. I definitely hope it doesn't win any music awards.

yeah, Bladesingers weren't fru fru at all.. still D&D elves were modelled on tolkien elves.. just thank your lucky stars they didn't have tom bombadil singing if thats the sort of thing that can ruin a movie for you.

IMO a very good movie !

Sadly, Gamma World is still dead. TSR once had plans to bring it back but those got put on hold and now that the company is owned by WOTC so I doubt it will be revived.
