so can the us/canadian government get ahold of the records on an epassporte account?

im not worried about taxes, i pay my fair share, i just dont want to have my info given to god knows whomever lawyer that would ask for it.

If they actually are offshore and none of this involves VISA or any other card company (transactions are traced), chances are they operate under the laws of the offshore jurisdiction and no other country has entitlement to access records with the exception of agreed criminal issues (drugs blah)

But who knows how the are structured - ya gotta ask em clickclickclick!

If it has the Visa symbol on it, then those records can be grabbed by the US anytime they want. Visa is a US corp.

In that case it sounds about right!

Next bit to check is if Anguilla National Bank are offering the cards as "offshore" and if they are, it normally means no data is transmitted to any card company. (ie.. all client data stays with the bank and is not passed out to any other country or card company). It's a criminal offence within Anguilla to divulge offshore bank data.

PS Kitts and Nevis is another matter - depends which laws apply!

Sorry, but.... what??? That dodgy off-shore bank is the processing bank for epassporte. That guy wanted to know if epassporte is offshore, so i googled and posted the URL of the bank's homepage, so if he really wants to know he can contact the issueing bank directly.

So who's tryin' to scam anyone here???

Can't be completely hands-off if the card has your name on it and they have your address. Didn't the old epass ads from a year or two ago say they were anonymous cards?

Epassporte is registered on Dutch ground... Aruba that is.
