22 Inch Dubs... Anyone have em? GETTING EM TODAY.
 

Takin the Rover in today to get some 22 inch Dubs put on em. Wife wants big wheels on her ride, and for some fucking reason she wants DUBS.. And she wants the new heavy chrome shit..

The newer look rims are not really catching on up here in Oregon yet. The ones with more full plated chrome, with less exposure..

Anyone have the newer look or style on their rigs?

Now how the hell does a female know what DUBS are? It blew my mind when she said she wanted them. I think she's been listening to too much rap music or has some bad friends..

I have some 20 inch MoMo chrome rims just sitting here in the garage.. I dont want them.

Very serious. If you want them you can have em.. The tires are pretty new..

I would sell them on ebay but dont want to hastle with the cargo shipping.

If you are in the portland area and want them, you can come by and just load em up and take em.. They just sit here.

But keep in mind they are 5 lug.. Most more common vehicles dont fit the 5 lug.. Most are 6 lug.. Most high end rigs make things difficult on rim buyers becasuce of the off set and lug patterns..

But if you want it, they are yours. Keep in mind they wont fit the avarage Tahoe or Denali kinda rigs though.

my jeeps a 5 lug pattern. ill have ups buy in the next 3 hours.

What wheels did you guys decide to go with?
I hope she doesnt end up bending them withen a week. (That's how long wheels last here in NY)

I have a Expidition, will have to check the lug pattern. Sadly I am in Sac, but I do have some family in Portland. Maybe they can grab them for me

Maybe becasue of the driveway and the size of the cars.. Keep in mind its a big car and a big driveway.

They were the newest things when I bought em, that was 2 years ago. Now I can get em 50% cheaper..

Nahhh cant put 24's on the Rover. Not enough clearance.. And 22's is more than enough for that ride..

If you're going to 20" or larger spend the money and do your brakes too. That's a lot of rolling stock to top at a light. Upgrade your brakes to a set of 4 piston Brembos or better. The new calipers and rotors will look cool and you can tell the wife you're doing the upgrade for her safety.

Yep I got Bauer brake kit with Red Calipers and slotted rotors on my Navigator. Looks sweet.. My ride came all custom from 310 motoring in Cali.. So it came like this.. A limited edition P Diddy or some shit like that. Anyhow its all be customed pimped.

The Rover was stock.. So all the add on's we are doing ourselves..

Ive already looked into break kits for this fuckin thing. Not cheap. Brembo's are lookin about right at the moment.. Bauer, had no idea they were so spendy..

But yeah, im on top of it.. Know all about it.
