Actually it's showing that God and all Gods are fake. Accept life as it is. It would be nice to keep pretending Santa exists but them it's time to grow up.

Let's see.......

I can't explain how the universe works or came to be so it's must be God.

I am afraid of death so I'll pretend God exists so I won't have to REALLY die.

My anscestors who lived in more ignorant times and where education of the populace didn't exist and where the church controlled thought, believed in God and they passed that on so I have to continue to pass myth and ignorance on to my kids.

Dunno about the whole universe thing, but I definately think a higher intelligence had a hand in laying the framework for humans. They fabricated religion in order to give our society more structure... put a little fear 'o god into us by resurrecting/cloning some guy and dazzling us with technology unheard of a few thousand years ago. :thumbsup
