I for one don't have one particular type of male build that I am attracted to. For me it is very much about the personality and then the body comes second. My husband was a big man (bigger than me) and I have also been with men that make starvin marvin look well-fed.

The fact is that just being fat doesn't all give us the same personality anymore than assuming all thin people have the same view on the people they are attracted to and why. I suppose that is why even though it is a compliment of sorts I also cringe when I hear a guy say something like 'I love fat girls they have so much better personalities'. I don't like the notion that just because we have similar body shapes we have some collective brain. It is like we should be called BBW for Big Borg Women.
