most call centers will basically have all the agents supporting all the projects. That why they can do it so cheaply because the average calls taken by agents is constant. The surges are client by client.

We have a phone room in La that is probably better for the price.

well there are a lot of people working in panama that aren't panamanian. lots of half american/ half panamanians and half canadians etc. dell doesnt have a lot of people working for them that are like this because they treat their reps like shit, and being that we speak perfect english (since its our first language) we seek other places for employment. the salary is still pretty low though. most people that are half panamanian are returning for family/culture/ etc. so they aren't looking to make a lot of money anyway.

i am however looking to manage something in panama. i would like to make a decent salary. and im talking - avg US salary. i work very hard, but would like to stay in panama long term and would need enough to finish my studies either via net, or transfer to FSU site in panama.

also, a lot of people that speak bad english go to dell. they basically hire anyone cause they are so far away. no one wants to travel that far for a job in panama. $5 taxi each way!! eek!! expensive. plus it takes like an 1 1/2 hour to get there on their lame ass "dell" buses. a lot of my friends speak english either because they part canadian, american, or they went to a very nice private school in panama (learned english there) - and are only working at a call center to finish the university.

what am i trying to do? anything! honestly. i have a lot of skills. some computer mac and pc, great communication skills, very organized, know my way around panama very well, have employee connections in panama - good english speakers (half americans or canadians). i just want to return to panama and feel secure with a good salary. i am still studing part time but can really work my ass off.

im trying to outsource a call center to take calls from customeres and then call the entertainers on call and tell them the location of the party.

it would be a daily updated list of entertainer schedules that i would supply the call center with on a daily basis.
