    European Based ACH

    Are there any truly European based ACH processors?

    NOT ones that simply contract a US company or have a US presence.

    ????

          there are no EU based companies processing checks because this payment type is not very common here. In Germany, Austria and Switzerland about 70% of all transactions are made by Direct Debit payment because people simply don't have credit cards. Dialers are nearly dead here as well, so if you have EU traffic, Direct Debit and credit card payment will work best for you.

            Direct-Debit transactions 10% transaction fee *
            Prepayment charges 6% transaction fee *
            * the transaction fee calculation is based on positive sales volume (not including chargebacks or chargeback fees) and does not include value added tax (+ 16% VAT).

              @thinkx

              Verotel for example charges 14,5% service fee for an initial transaction and even 16% for a recurring charge. Thus our service fees are way lower and I really don't understand your comment.
