Thanks to Sami and Serverprovider.com for the quick resolution of my FTP problem. You guys were online (24/7 as you promise) and were on the problem like white on rice. I really appreciate it because I had to change some files REAL QUICKLY and you were there for me when problems arose. I dont think this is spam, I have been in this situation before where serverprovider went above and beyond my support expectations and felt like singing it to the world.
I had just installed a new script on my site and added over 8000 sites into it manually... yes MANUALLY... url, title, description... it costed me about $700 to get it done on top of my time helping out the guy who was doing it to get it done quicker. I shit you not, I added the last link and went to bed. the next morning the guy who was doing it for me ICQ'd me saying the server was down. I was heart broken and contacted Sami, he said the server had been down for 30 minutes but was backup, unfortunately we lost all data/changes that had been made in the past 2-3 days. at which point I felt like crying and going back to bed to feel sorry for myself. Sami noticed I took the news pretty bad, and asked me if this was a large problem. I explained everything to him and he said how sorry he was, offered me free hosting etc. I was gratefull but still dissapointed. He must have picked up on that and he went the extra mile to go down to the data center and recovered the hard drive for me. it was 98% successful and saved my life. I am NOT some big shot spending 5k a month on hosting, I am just a regular joe with small account at serverprovider and that to me says Sami and serverprovider.com has amazing support. I have them in my sig without a referral id just because I am a HAPPY customer. I always tell people, make sure you talk to Sami before getting a new server. you'd be an idiot not to. |
