I love them, very rare over here though, very expensive. The one that nick cage drove in gone in 60 seconds was a nice one :321GFY

its a nice one, I have been looking for a while now and this one seems to be one of the best I have seen.

The one in gone in 60 secs is a Shelby Fastback I believe which are going for like 150k to 200k now.

I hate fastbacks. When I went looking for a 1965 Mustang, I kept saying, "no, I want a flatback". Now I finally call mine a coupe.

:)

That year model is hot, everyone wants an Eleanor. I didn't see any go on Barrett-Jackson recently, but they're asking upwards of $100k fully restored in the trade magazines.

Personally, I'd never buy a classic car on eBay, and I collect classic cars. I want to look at it and I want to see the underbody myself. Also, too many people say it's a "restoration" when they did a $299 Maaco paint job to cover the bondo.

You do know they're bringing back Shelby in 2007, right?

Oh I am planning on going to Phoenix to see it before I bid on it :thumbsup

I dont like the new mustangs, even though it will be awesome with the Shelby mods, but still nothing beats those 67's or 8 fastbacks.

The only thing I like about the new Mustangs is the TV commercial where they show the early cars.

Good idea to go look at it. Too many on eBay photograph real pretty but that's about it. I need a lot of underbody pictures to even get my interest going a little bit and considering driving out to look at it. Again, "fully restored" to these people mean a paint and wax job.

My mechanic calls my 66 'Stang a toy and a "girlie car". I just explain that Ford marketed the 6 cylinder to "girlies" with a "Six And The Single Girl" campaign and that's good enough for me! I don't need a V8 in this car!

I saw a really rare 1970 Shelby (I think it was 70) at a car show this week but haven't uploaded the pics to my website yet
