i just got a spam email trying to get me to buy partner accounts
 

how is it that adult webmasters have become the targets of this kind of spam? kind of ironic?

I thought 15$ wasnt bad, so I opened a new window and went to Alexa to find it's traffic rank #934,109 -- not even enough history for a top one hundred statistical graph and the sites been open since '94. no thanx!

What's your email address? I know the owner of the site, so I can find out if it was sent because you're a current partner or some such or if someone might have emailed them asking for partner with your return addy. Also, it's PR3, and I myself have an account on there and get some decent traffic off of it, as do some friends I know that submit there. Some even have top spots and make a decent amount of sales off of it. It's not *always* about Alexa, ya know. :winkwink:

Was going to say that if it was a legit and targetted offer it wouldn't be spam but that Alexa rating part....(tho its not the defacto standart in traffic measure)

LOL ... its opposite for me. I get emails every day from webbies who want partner accounts, but I don't offer them anymore...at least not in public...
I wonder where they get those ideas from?

The guy who runs that site is pretty cool I'm sure it was a mistake.

:thumbsup OK, found out what that is. You requested partner on the site via the form, that's a canned response for people requesting partner now. He did not send any email, the script did (it has a reject with reason option). So, he didn't target you, or spam ya. Please feel free to contact him if you still feel spammed, maybe he'll even set ya up with partner.
