Question about re-entering USA from Canada
 

I haven't been to Canada in many many years. A friend said since 9/11, you need a passport to get back in the USA from Canada. Is this true? I used to get back in with just my driver's license.

You dont need a passport yet, but you will Jan 1st 2006. Your driver's license and birth certificate will be fine for now. You must have two forms of id though. Two of the above will work.
