He was an icon in the industry.....from back in the day until even now....I didn't know his health wasn't good...that he'd had a heart attack before the Florida show...he still had a friendly look and a solid hug when I saw him....damn..seven years goes fast when he was amongst the first of my content providers...

RIP...and, well written memorial to him, too.

He truly was! I worked with and talked to him most everyday. I'm a better person for the 4.5 years I knew him.

we had such a wonderful time in florida - he met my wife for the first time since I got married. Was one of the better persons of this industry who unlike many, handled his relationships even with those he hated with dignity and respect. Never spoke ill of someone or lashed out in hostility. He was a rare gem and i will miss him for what he brought to this industry and my life.
