Do a google search for MIMO wireless router.

Stands for Multiple Input, Multiple Output or something... basically it's a bunch of motorized antennas.. looks pretty cool.

I was checking out that LinkSYS MIMO router. 180$. But I read the reviews on tom's hardware and its bomb I guess. Second was the NetGear Range Max router. 115$ right now.
Both had rebates, 50 on the Linksys I think and 15 on the Netgear.

Pre-N and MIMO are 802.11g AFAIK.

I don't think there's anything better for consumers yet.

I'm not positive, but I *think* MIMO is supposed to be faster than G. I think it is based on G but works over multiple channels at the same time. I could be wrong though.

got the dual turbo G.
its 110Mbit/s fast enough for what i do with my laptop

sit in garden.. take a dump on toilet.. etc..
