It's Official. Island Gathering Sold Out! Who's going?
:winkwink:
ISLAND GATHERING SOLD OUT IN RECORD TIME... Island Gathering 2005 is SOLD OUT and we would like to thank everyone for sending their registrations in early! Continuing the unique tradition setting IG apart from all other events, we would also like to thank the many attendees who have decided to bring their wives, husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends! With an outstanding list of attendees and sponsors IG5 promises to be the best year yet! We will be in touch with all registered attendees over the next month to provide more details of the weekend itinerary, business opportunities and guest list. We are assembling a WAITING LIST as we usually find ourselves with a few extra rooms due to hotel cancellations. Please e-mail dana @ islandgathering . com or [email protected] asap if you would like to be placed on the list! This year, business is the main priority, but be certain we won't leave out the pleasure! Expect the Unexpected! |
Awesome! Glad to hear it Joe.
The Island Gathering is by far the the most intimate and classy of all the webmaster events I've ever attended. It has always drawn the best and the brightest from the industry to a quaint little island to get together for fun in the sun and business by the pool. Those who've been know what I'm talking about. Those who haven't... you don't know what you're missing. Looking forward to IG5 in Curacao October 14-16, 2005. See you there! |
a change of islands would be nice. I hate the flight to Curacao, it's so damn far! :(
sounds like another successful and fun event! :) |
Thanks, Odie. So if we change the Island next year you will come? :winkwink:
|
I know all those who worked on putting this show together really put heart and soul into it.
This is such a great event....the mixing of business and pleasure, the networking...will be awesome... Kudos!! |

A change in islands might be nice, but Curacao is so well suited for this event. |

btw, can you get Michael to contact me on icq? I need to speak to him! :thumbsup |
I'm bummed. I was so excited about going I RSVP'd earlier this week but I am assuming that since I've gotten no response it wasn't counted and now I will need to be wait-listed. (sigh)

I think that not only a change of this island would be a good idea, But I think that most of the events should move around. Not a lot mind. But like the Florida Internext. That Hotel SUCKS MAJOR ASS in so many ways. And just a few miles South is South Beach!!!
|
Looking Forward to it :thumbsup

People that have inquired and did email/fax their forms they are all booked even tho you might now have had a response yet.
A few rooms are booked as sold for those we still miss the confirmation. Deadline for those confirmations is today .. one more reason to make sure you're added to the waiting list if you're not on it. -> |
On the list...

The past few days I was counting and recounting the rooms, calling the hotel, and trying to find space. So Brad you are on the top of the list and Joe D is trying to find some way to get you in...Pornopat, I have added you to the list but I cant find an email from you? Can you both email me to confirm...dana @ netthinkmedia . com will do! That goes for anyone who missed out! We actually have a couple sponsorship opportunites that didnt sell out so if you interested I will give you my room : ) |

I love Curasao and the flight is great because you end up on the plane with everyone else...good times for sure~!
|
Curacao is a very relaxed place to be. Not too commercial compared to e.g. Aruba.
Very safe and pretty good connections. AA has been flying every day for at least 5 years straight now. Cu all in Curacao ;-) |
