Are Omaha steaks really that good?
 

I am looking to send my dad something special for his birthday this week but living over here I have never had one. Are they worth it?

mmmmmmmmmmm Omaha Steaks! Yes they are very very good, and so is everything else we have had from there. Some of my favourites included the cheesecakes and the lobster tails, yummy yummy!!

Actually, my dad, his brother and their grandfather were all adopted...I had held out hope that they would tell me I was too one day so I could avoid such mental images.

yes it's worth it. But only deal with the beef...the porkchops are garbage.

Omaha Steaks are really good. I used to buy their filets all the time. The only thing I did not like is they usually come 4 to a package, which contains two vacuum sealed packages with two steaks each. It just alway seems they give you one really nice steak, and then one steak not as nice. And since they are packaged that way you can not pick individual steaks. (I go in to the local Omaha steaks store)

The best steaks they have, are their private reserve streaks, they are more expensive, but those are the best cuts they have by far. :2 cents:

Pussy is really officially pink and not red.

Dont know if you can get it on the web - but the best steak I ever had was in Australia - it beat the Omaha stuff hands down as well as every other fancy hand-picked steak Ive ever had. Just wish I could get back to Perth to get some more - and ship a freezer full back :)

now I am just bummed I won't get to try any..lol

I got a lobster dinner from them as a christmas gift last year. It was excellent.
