Anyone run mainstream news sites?
 

Anyone? I just tossed up an article about the Power Ranger killer and got tons of SE traffic from it the day after it was posted on my main page. Only mentioned the main keywords twice and barely wrote anything. Compared to the content on my main page, density for the SE terms was VERY low.

Is news traffic this easy to obtain? Thinking about doing some tests with it in the next couple days.

I created a simple site that aggregated RSS feeds from tens of sources... It did a few bucks a day in google adsense... I keep meening to make it hundreds to thousands of sources but my adult money is growing so sweet I keep puting it off.

The awesome part is that I never once linked to it with keywords... Just 5 or 6 links from established sites to get the bots in there and walla.. yahoo, google and msn started sending it a good amount of traffic.
