have you ever been robbed?
knock on wood I've been lucky
But I have been shot at and had a gun put to my head before. back in the day |
One time robbed and twice burglarized.
Robbery was a quasi home invasion at gun point. Stupid ass model got all insane, traced me back to my house and then had her methed out pussy jockeys rob me of my camera equipment and the photographs of her. Most recent burglary was in my garage, I was dead asleep since I had massive back spasms for a few days and took a few mg of valium. Well they took a whole crap load of power tools and equipment. Previous burglary was in my final comic and game shop. They cleaned me out of all the collectable card games, all wall mounted comics, several grand worth of war hammer figurines, all the AD&D stuff, a few other role playing games, the dice assortments, all of the mountain dew oh they did leave the fallen empires magic cards as a final fuck you. That release did suck ass. |
Never been robbed. but that maby couse i live in sweden :)
|
Never been robbed, but a few times after I was billed I felt like I was robbed.
ADG Webmaster |
yes - car-jacked - and it sucks big time - multiple guns and everything
|
I was in a inside a bank when it was robbed. We 5 men with masks staged the robbery. can't remember most of the details. My girlfriend was suppose to encash the check, good thing I said I'd go instead.

robbed and had guns pointed at ( a few times, not fun)
|
knock on wood.. never .. but thats maybe cause i have broad shoulders and look mean :pimp
|
Nope. In the OC the closest you come to being robbed is if the golddigger you're with overcharges your Amex.

Our house was broken into when I was 17. I came home and no one else was home and things looked very strange for some reason. then I noticed things knocked over and the VCR missing. I called 911 and ran outside. A few minutes later my Mom got home with my sister and her husband who were visiting from out of town. I t really sucked because my father had just passed away after a long illness and had given my sister and I "remembrance" jewelry. A bracelet for her and a ring for me. These were among the items stolen. They caught the people and got some of our things back, my leather jackets, vcr, etc... and luckily my sister's bracelet. But not my ring. It still pisses me off. Not for monetary value but because it was from my Dad. We wound up getting insurance money and the thieves just finished paying restitution to my Mom about 5 years ago. After they got out of jail their wages were garnished. It's a really bad violated feeling.

I had my door kicked in and a 12 guage held to my forehead as his partner helped himself to all of my computer equipment. It was about 11 years ago and really sucked. What REALLY sucked about the whole thing is that it started with me doing them a little favor and ended up with me shitting my pants and out $3000 worth of computer equipment.
Word of advice, don't agree to make fake ID's for wanna-be gangsters. My freshman year in college I made fake ID's and sold them out of my dorm room. My friend worked at the DMV and snagged me up a couple of the UV laminates so my ID's rocked U of M! Word got out that I was making them so I got a visit from some shady mofos who thought it was like a zerox machine and they could just pump them out. I was using Photoshop 3.0 and a scanner with max resolution of 760. :winkwink: To make a long story short, the Assholes stole my shit at gunpoint. |

Never been robbed so far.

1 time got a car broke into and stole some shit outta it and busted a window.....
Had my tent broke into at a campground twice... 1st time cleaned out of my pancake mix, a few metal bowls and a picnic basket. Not that bad since I was leaving the next day and they missed all my 420, booze and accoustic guitar.... 2nd time was most memorable break in to my tent.... I had a foam cooler that had some food in it that I didnt get a chance to snag Ice for... .alll day the cooler sits as we set up the rest of camp at this local music fest..... End of the day, I break out to get some fresh food since the shit in the cooler has gone VERY bad by now ( cold cuts, chicken left overs from home and open cooking wine ) .... I get back and the 3 teenaged assholes across from us are blowing their guts out.... they decided to clip my "nasty" cooler and eat its contents of heat spolied food. They spent all their cash on booze the day before and had nothing to eat apparently. Sitting in my chair, watching them in absolute gut wrenching misery for a day was great but not enough... The next day the 3 seem to be feeling better and decide to head out in the grounds for the day. I emptied my 5 gallon septic waste bucket into their tent all over their sleeping bags, pillows and clothes and removed their rain fly + underground covering. That afternoon it rained like hell and the boys came back... only to find someone dumped a few gallons of shit and piss into their now thunderstorm soaked tent. They left later that day when one of the boys called home to have his parents come get them all.... They had to pack up all the gear since they borrowed it from the 1 kids old man..... That was the last time we ever went there and camped. Now I just get a day pass to the music events. www.folkfest.org |
i was Robbed in Costa Rica by 2 guys around 16 years and they had a gun believe it or not they only robbed my $5 and i had at that moment around $500 in the purse

Have I ever been robbed?
Sure, most sponsors call it "shaving." |
Never been robbed but I did rob a few peoples....reading some of these stories bring back sweet memories :)
j/k Shaft |
yep. from my bank accounts.
turns out scammers can actually get your ATM card number and pin number by kicking back gas station attendants, convenience store attendants, etc and pull your info from the box where you swipe your card. then they replicate the card and use the pin number. it's nice to know that tank of gas cost me a few grand. Bank told me to watch out for Arco stations. but it could happen anywhere. Oh yea, and this happened last week just so you know. 'They are watching you!' |
House was burglarized a couple of months ago.. They got all of my g/f's jewelry :( + some coinage.
Have had two cars stolen over the years. Gas stolen from cars. Credit card theft. Someone bought some toys in London toy store. (Never been to England) Credit card theft again at a bar. Thieves went on an immediately shopping spree. Tools stolen on the job when I was in communications contracting. Then there is all that shaving from sponsors... Life seems to be full of crime. The only people that have pointed guns at me are the police. As a kid had a knife or two pointed my direction. |
Our car has been rummaged through a few times, and our garage has been broken into a couple of times.
Just last week someone stole my wife's bike from our garage so I'd decided we'd had enough and installed an alarm system just yesterday. |
Got Mugged by the Football Field at my High School - some scrapes and cuts and they ripped my neaklace off my neck.
Worked on the Boardwalk in Atlantic City - we got robbed about two times a season Had my car stolen at college...good old Temple University! |
ive never been
although i've been to strange places around the world |
once, 6 guys with knives, stole a cellphone only
last week a bitch cleared my cellphone, and my money from my FRONT POCKET without me feeling shit, she also managed to unzip my back pocket but didn't take anything from there - I had my drivers licence and a debit card there I want to kill the fucking bitch, I had hundreds of numbers on my phone |

holy shit its a lot more than people than i expected
some of the stories are great even though they sucked balls at the time |
My Pinschers keep the theives away.
I was at a Nextel store buying something. It wasn't a phone I forget, maybe a cord or something. I go to pay with my debit card. Declined. I gave her my credit card. They got a message to call. While she was on the phone I couldn't figure out what was going on. She answered all of the questions yes or no. She looked at me suspiciously and with a little bit of fear. Me scary? What? The next thing I know Police come in behind me. The lady said to the cop. "This guy (me) is using stolen cards". I said, "what are you talking about?" So they start asking me questions. And I said. "This is ridiculous. All she needed to do was check my ID" Apparenly someone had bought $35,000 of commercial gym fitness equipment on one of my accounts earlier that day and cleaned out my checking account on a flurry of purchases. The good thing, the accounts were closed and my money was returned. The bad thing, the insecurity of realizing that there are some people who are so clever to work hard to steal when they could be putting that energy into being something other than low-life scum. |

Your waay to sexy to steal from. you should have had a Penthouse key hangin on the rear view :winkwink: |
i got shot in the shoulder with a 9mm in an attempted car jacking
get out, give me your wallet your watch your necklace your keys and your shoes... get the fuck out fuck you you dont have a fucking hair on your balls you stupid fucking nigge BOOM! |
Once I had a gun to my head and the guy said "Give me your shit" I pushed him away and told him "You're fucking crazy" he then said "Bitch I will shot you!" so he got my purse with $600 two day's before X-Mass. :(
I had a feeling and thought "I should lock this $$ up" but I didn't listen. That was allso the first time I ever put my keys in my coat pocket. I now listen to my gut 100%. |
I had a Trans Am GTA stolen from me, must have been 15 years ago now. I happened to be in Coral Cables and I was standing within 5 feet of the car. The fucker had a GM master key, I hear my car fire up, he pulled a Burt Reynolds 180 and was gone. I had a bunch of stuff in the car too, including 2k in stereo equipment.
Insurance paid for the car, but I get a call about 5 months later from the Dade County Police, and they said they recovered the car. The problem was it was no longer my car, the insurance company now owned it. Once I got permission to see the car, I did not even recognize it. I even told them, thats not my car. Once I looked inside and saw the floor mats that did not match, I knew it was mine. Of course there was no personal item of mine left to recovery. |
damn... or not...
