How many programs sponsor parties?

How many parties have you been too and by what sponsor

time to share some love with those who give back to the community

Sly 08-18-2005 05:23 PM

I think Lightspeed is my favorite. You can always count on their parties being enjoyable.

WiredGuy 08-18-2005 10:29 PM

Too many to mention, I do remember typically who does buy me drinks and meals though :)

Thanks Sly! Would you believe we've already started planning for Phoenix Forum 2006!

You will find that parties are not a good investment.People drink your booze, sometimes wreck your place, then dont even remember who the sponsors were :2 cents:

RogerV 08-18-2005 10:38 PM

damn no love why do sponsors have parties if nobody cares

that is the question

Parties are just one piece of the marketing puzzle. We throw them because its fun. But yeah, ROI is hard to measure.

I also think there is value in supporting the industry as a whole, and giving back to the people that got us here.

Thanks for expanding on what I stated. You of all people should know best first hand, being a long time party host. Like Sly said Your parties Rock :thumbsup :thumbsup It is your way of thinking, supporting the industry as a whole, and giving back to the people that got you there, that helps you stay on top :2 cents:

natnet, and their excursion out on the town in atlanta webmaster access was one of the best continuous all night parties I have ever been to in this industry....they had the whole night planned, 3 clubs and all VIP for everyone participating

that was that tommy lee night too....every jaw in our group dropped when tommy lee went on, some funny ass shit

Yes that certainly was a great night :thumbsup

Lensman 08-18-2005 11:07 PM

Yeah, NatNet always does it right. I've only been to a couple of Steve's parties, but they've been fun.

But I think Adult.com's thrown more open invitation parties at the shows in the past few years than anyone I can think of.

SteveLightspeed 08-18-2005 11:08 PM

CCbill, Natnet, and Chris Mallick set the pace for treating their customers to some great times. They are all very generous.

Not to mention, your good at doing something alittle different then just come get drunk on us! Who started the fan signs...who started the cabana's in Miami.....the list could go on and on! :2 cents:

These 3 companies are all great examples. I've never worked for any of them directly and they've been very hospitable to invite me on many occassions to their dinners and parties. Many thanks Ron, Tony, Chris for the hospitality.

no they dont, i went over to a club with pipecrew during internext and they got us all a vip section reserved, but that had nothing to do with me sending them traffic, i sent them traffic before because they have some of the best sites on the net and make me $.

SteveLightspeed 08-18-2005 11:28 PM

The nicest thing I remember from a party we threw was a guy that told me he never sent traffic to my program, because he had only hardcore traffic. But he met someone there that he planned to send a lot of traffic to. He wanted to sign up under my referral code as a thank you for letting him into my party, even though I had never met him before.

That is class.

Pipecrew probably won't be too happy about me saying this.....but he's one of the nicest guys in this industry I've had the pleasure of talking to on a regular basis! Very down to earth, really good guy!!!!! :2 cents: I didn't have a clue who he was when we first started talking, didn't really care either! Some of my best friends where made that way! :) But, what do I know! I don't know anyone in this industry! :1orglaugh
