Most murderers are caught and convicted. Does he get to serve all the years at the same time though? Usually they allow that over here. So if he got done for 600 seperate offences and got 1 year for each they'd allow him to serve them all at the same time and he'd be out within a year. Legally there is a distinction between hurting other people physical, economy and so on. Some people has faced longer jail time for tax violations, than murderers. Its hard to understand sometimes, but think of it this way:
Spam cost netto billions of dollars each year. How many lifes could be saved for those money?
