To tell your landlord you're moving? I know you should give 30 days but I can't wait that long or the new house might be gone. I need a little help in telling my landlord I'm moving.

I didn't... so now I'm renting 2 houses until I find a 3rd one that I like better :1orglaugh

Just try explaining the situation or saying that you "have to." Do you have a lease? Is your landlord nice? :upsidedow

it all depends on ur rental contract

u might need to keep paying rent on ur current place until the end of the month
but no one can stop u from moving.

Tell him its time to go and if he has a problem with it then smack him around a few times;)

Give him month's notice and legally you're fine

Tell him your plan including that house you are catching up. I think he'll understand.

Yeah it all depends on the leasing agreement...If you're renting month to month there shouldn't be a problem, but if you signed a lease for several months to a year, your landlord can legally hold you to that...He can't make you stay, but he can make you pay...Until he rents it out again that is.

If worse comes to worse, get evicted. :)
