Well most people that would really know there way around in irc, probably already have a shell account somewhere.. and also have a good IDS, or firewall.. so i dont see where security would be a HUGE problem..

Damn...I haven't been logged onto IRC for years.

Not anymore of a security risk than my server logs from posting party goats pics.

Why not just make a channel on dalnet & offer for people to come in R3K...why does lensman have to fund this little project?

then he loses impressions and his sponsors will pay him a lot less, there's no way it will happen...

I pity the poor fuck who hosts this irc channel. Just make one on efnet and stick a shitload of bots in it to hold it. Trust me, you'll have less headaches and you wont be so mad when I forcefully take over your channel.
