oh and labret get you punk ass on your fake ass icq soon, i got a question for you. |
Yeah all the elves looked like shemale wannabes.
It was a pretty good movie, but I still like Jackson's previous movies better. Bad taste Meet the feebles Braindead Those have some class!:ak47: |

They have already filmed the other two sequels. The next one is coming out christmas of 2002 and the third is coming out christmas of 2003. Damn, I know way too much about this shit. It must be true: I am a geek. Fuck 'em. The elvin archer was my hero when I was a kid. He was a bad mo fo in the books. All of the girls went crazy for him in the movie theatre. My girl could not stop gushing over him all the way home. I put a stop to that when I got home and pulled out my "gnobhobbit" and gave her the old geek grinder. Elves suck.:ak47: :ticking |
LOL drunkmonkey :1orglaugh
so, if the other 2 films are ready, why not release them now ? |

Bad Taste is still one of my all time favorites and one of those mois I subject my friends too...have a group of friends (yes, we're all married and have no lives) that have the dialog memorized and get drunk and fire up Bad Taste on mute and recite lines...yes I'ma Peter Jackson geek and I don't give a fuck :) Labret, so you're trying to tell us that it...aroused you? no worries...just go with your feelings...we won't judge you...much |

good fucking question. I guess they want to cash in on the christmas market for three years straight. I like the fact that they did all three films at one time because now you wont get that queer shit where they change actors on you (i.e. silence of the lambs 2 a.k.a hannibal). That girl was no jody foster but she played a good ho'-in-love with the almighty Dirk Diggler in "Boogie Nights".

I loved it. The general public is to stupid to enjoy something that deep though!:2 cents:

Yep, that's it, they're greedy bastards and want the money. They are pretty damn smart though because before the movie gets released next year around Christmas, they're gonna release the frist one one video and DVD, so that's gonna help out a lot because with the people that didn't see it in the theatures, they're gonna rent it, so then if they see the second flick in theatures, they'll check it out. ALSO, on that note, people that already saw the first one, will check it out again on video, so they can refresh their memories of it before seeing the second flick.

I never seen so much man crying in a movie in my life. I liked it, but it was just more hollywood tripe. It was just a rip off of the Kalevala. |
I downloaded the dvd rip from directconnect & after the 6 hours I had to wait for the download, I was not that impressed..
Sure, I enjoyed it, but that fucking ending pissed me off... What the fuck kind of ending was that?? I hate when movies do that.. Fucking make me wait for the next movie.. I read the book & there's alot of shit missing from the movie... Yeah, the elves do look homosexual-esque..lol.. Fucking fairies..lol. Liv tyler looked pretty damn hot.. Too bad there were no fuck scenes..Yeah.. at the beginning I thought that fucking wizard was huge, til I saw the baggins' in the tavern, I forgot that they were "little people".. That's some hairy fucking feet they got..lol |
if you want to see a homo movie go for collateral damage it rox on that department.
|
I'm always amazed when you fools talk about movies.

The filmed all three films already but editing and adding special effects takes quite a while. |

Somebody with a bit of knowledge! Respect Labret - and for liking Finnish Beer too! :thumbsup |
Yep, there's a whole lot more to making a movie than just filming. I don't think Jackson is as interested in making money as he is in making a good movie... though the producers obviously want their investment returned.
I'm a big Peter Jackson fan, and I thought LoTR was another in a series of great movies. It's his first major big budget movie, but other than that, it's really no different. He's always done a variety of movies... not just the gore stuff. One of his first movies was Heavenly Creatures - a great movie, but it's a wierd drama. He also did The Frighteners. Of course, my favorites are still Dead Alive, Bad Taste, and Meet the Feebles. He didn't do the book justice? The book was decent, but way overrated. I think he improved it by removing ridiculous characters like Tom Bombadil and adding some more depth to the others. And also remember that he had to cut quite a bit to get it down to 3.5 hours. The DVD is going to be 4.5 hours long. |
Hmmm,
The Fifth element is on right now. Those aliens kinda remind me of the things in Brain Dead... |

They left out that living forest with bombadil (good riddance), the barrows, and a couple of other things. But I think the barrows part will be on the dvd. You can't expect them to release a 4.5 hour movie on the big screen... people couldn't sit through it, and they'd lose money because they'd get fewer rotations.
The ending is completely different in the movie, but again, I was glad. The end of the book was anticlimactic... would have made a shitty movie ending. It was definitely different, and Jackson has said that the next 2 movies will be even more different from the books, but every change I've seen so far has been for the better. |
I hear in the third one, the Backstreet Boys make a cameo as bards.

...and yes, it was a good thing they left out Tom Bombadil. How could they ever have portrayed the guy without making him EXTREMELY camp? |

I'm a big fan of Arnold Swarzenegger - but "The 6'th Day" sucked ass (he was a producer) |
Fuck, nothing can be as bad as N'Sync being in the upcoming Star Wars movie.
|
who said Nsync are going to be in StarWars ?
|
The 'NSync cameo on Star Wars Episode II was cancelled recently...:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wednesday, January 16, 2002 More on *Nsync in 'Star Wars' The ongoing saga of *Nsync and "Star Wars: Episode II - Attack Of The Clones" continues. Die-hard "Star Wars" fans reacted angrily to news that several of the *Nsync boys had won cameos in the upcoming flick from George Lucas. Then, group member Joey Fatone said the popstars weren't going to make the final cut due to the negative reaction from fans. "... I'm going to make it officially known that they dropped it because people made a big deal about it," Joey told E! Online last week. "We're not going to be in it, and I'm not going to comment on it any more." But an official from LucasFilm said George Lucas still hadn't made the final cut of the film and would be the one who ultimately decides whether the boys are chopped from the reel or not. Now, *Nsync's Chris Kirkpatrick is also saying there's a chance some of the group members will still show up in the movie. "Yes and no. To be more specific, maybe," he told zap2it.com when asked about "Star Wars". *Nsync's J.C. Chasez tried to ease "Star Wars" junkies' fears that their potential presence would wreck the movie. "Don't worry about it, we're not Obi-Wan Kenobi," he told zap2it.com. "You know, we were little kids with the light sabers running around, and it was real flattering to even just be at the ranch and hanging out," Chris said, "and I'm sure that if anybody who is as big a 'Star Wars' fan as us, if not bigger, would have gotten the same opportunity, they would have taken it." ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- :thumbsup Thank God! |
Ha ! Nsync Backstreet boys Five and so on - they SUCK. Fucking queers, i cant stand them.
|
I think LOTR will win Academy Award for Best Picture this year.
That elfen archer kind of reminded me of Joe Dirt. Maybe the Mullethead hair cut will make a come back this year. |
