What ammount of traffic should you send to a gallery to get a good idea of the ratio ?1K 15k ? 50 K 100 K ?1000k ?

And what IS a good ratio ?

100/k should give you an idea of CTR. CTR should be 4 to 5% at least IMO.

But I suspect you're asking about conversion ratio? That has nothing to do with CTR except sales will be a certain % of CTR.

Exactly one of the points. You see people taling about 1:250 conversion ratio.. You don't get 1 signup from 250 raw clicks to a gallery.

Other way:

Am I making sense when I say:

CTR from a (pic)gallery to sponsor should be around 4 %
CTR from (movie)gallery to sponsor should be around 6%

Ratio should be 1:350 on gallery traffic ?

CTR can be 2%, ratio 1:1000

OK.. they can also be 0% and 0:1000.
What makes it a succes in your opinion / experience?
Would the figures I mentioned satisfy you ?
