are solo girls sites just the current fad or do u see them as having the power to continue converting over the long haul?

The way the are currently being built?? Yes. I think it's the latest passing fad. Most appear to be no more than a glorified MySpace profile.

However their are a select few that are VERY involved ( see. Arika Ames, Naughty Allie, Vanilla ) that will pass the test of time, due to their commitment to the members that enjoy their site. They update all the time, have live cam shows with members, they are very good to the people who are paying the bills.

Somewhere in the mix it has turned into 5k pics of the same girl in the same situation packaged with a few hours of video, the not so happy meal of the industry. And the turn and burn begins.

Money made from "solo" girl sites is made with sites that the girls are active in participation.

I think that would depend on the type of traffic you're sending to the site to be honest.

A fad is something that comes and goes over a short period of time...So the answer to your question is NO, solo girls aren't a fad, tho I say many will endup closing up shop soon tho

Thanks for mentioning me, Mack! :) I agree that there has been a lot of *new* solo sites out there lately. However, will they last? Without the member interaction, retention will fall, especially for the members who typically "fall in love" with a particular solo girl. If done right, solo girl sites can retain forever... I started my site in 1999, and I have had members rebill for years, and even have members who have been with me from my launch.

yes, that AND knowing that normally single girl sites are VERY thorough with the content of that 1 girl, rather than multi girl sites where all focus isnt on just that 1 girl that the member likes

I joined RookieBabe.com - it is a WEAK paysite - pretty packaging, nice concept but mediocre at best as a paysite. VERY softcore, LIGHT on content, NOTHING special about the photography/videography.

i do extremely well with single girl sites on tgps & linklist traffic but not so good on SE traffic (mostly just surfers lookin for free pics of the single girl sites)

BUT, its the opposite with everything else. I have awesome SE conversions for targeted niches/keywords for other sites, but that are hard to sell on TGP's. just my experinces though. (usually i dont give out advice like this lol) :upsidedow

Most of the Solo girl sites are just a gateway site for the larger programs.
once they join a solo site they get access to all the other sites etc in upsells or for retention

There are gateway solo sites and real solo sites.

Solo girl has is clearly selling here with UK traffic. Its not high volume though convertions are really high and with the sites being managed well they are exceptional at retention.

Going forward it wont last for long we see sites crash and burn esp the solo girl ones and end up loosing money on time spent promoting them.

It kind of piss's me off if I know the member I send to a partner is being sold and switched to a new programme or another site within the network with no credit passed on to the ref WM.

From what I understand SexMoney auctually use ramdon webmaster ID's when remarketing to the people that failed to join, now thats a value add which I like :-) Crazy to think that you can be sat there one day and get a nice day 'Blue Bird Sales Day' because your ID was used
