I never really liked Jay-Z till one night when he played live for my friends birthday party. He was actually pretty damn good.

50 and the rest of gunit is garbage, always has been, always will be with the exception of newly signed mobb deep and MOP glad they are finally gonna get the money they deserve with the new exposure

to me, his rapping sounds really weird, especially in that song 'hate it or love it'. if you listen to specific parts of it, you can tell he's having a really hard time
1. keeping up with the beats
2. generally rapping

but this is mainstream hip hop, don't expect too much, even though you'll find some gems, most of it is overrated...try on a lil' bit of krs-one....see how that fits :D
