I think he makes a mockery of the system, and if I was a student there, I would be embarrassed.

Not sure what this idiot is trying to prove by taking that kind of a workload on his first year reading a book since 1986.

I tuned in for about 10 minutes or so. I won't say it was the worst 10 minutes of my life, I mean I did watch a few episodes of VIP back in the 90's.

I think the funniest part of the show was that he actually thought he had some skills. They cut him slack by even letting him participate in any of the practice sessions.

Incredible as it sounds, I hear they want to make this into a weekly series.

ya, I've heard he was in Lincoln for 4-5 weeks. That isn't even a dorm where he stayed, it was a rented out house made to look like a dorm. I still found the show to be pretty good.

They should have featured it instead, it has more talent than he displayed.

the marching band sets are much different, there is a name for them i cant remember (not the single drums, but the sets), and he admitted he hadn't touched them in 20+ years....

News Flash - Reality shows are NOT reality. They are highly profitable contrived comedy/soap opera programs that use "reality" as an excuse for bad acting and bad writing...oh yes, and to make heaps of dough off of people whose existence is centered upon television.

I'm not a big fan of those reality shows and watched it just out of curiosity (I was a Motley Crue fan when I was a teenager :) ). And I must say I liked it! Especially the look on Tommy Lee's face during all show in that unsuitable environment for him. :1orglaugh

Yea, that was funny. He was going over his life over the past few yrs... sold like 40mil records and did alot in the music biz... fucking piker band leader wasn't impressed. "If you make the band..." Can you imagine that? Doesn't matter what you do in life, some academics aren't impressed

He has zero skills as a drum player in a marching band and supposed to do what everyone else is doing, the same way, every time.

No drum solos, and in this case, there really is no "I" in team.

i am not a tommy lee fan 'coz i love pamela anderson.

I thought it was funny, bet he rocks the drums in the next couple weeks...they cant just expect him to know what they practice every day already
