I was curious did you guys get dizzy spells when you quit? I'm on my 8th day and I've had dizzy spells for like 3 days now...


I was curious if it was common...

Are you quiting cold turkey?

No dizzy spells. Massive JONES FIENDS though :( I quit a long time ago. It's a bitch after meals and right before sleeping.

So how does it feel to be so selfish and not care about the children and other social programs you were once supporting? :winkwink:

When I did quit a couple times ,I would sneak a drag and got dizzy spells but that was a few months into it..might as well join us smokers and light up :pimp

No dizzy spells, but I swear it's an addiction you never get rid of. You just have to MAKE yourself not smoke.

I had those bad. But on the up side, any day now you should find yourself suddenly able to smell and taste again!

I was dizzy off and on for the first month or so.. On month three, you'll have your lungs purge the crap from them. OH THAT'S FUN!!!!! mMmm chunky!

I was never a habitual smoker, but I can remember I got nauseus when I smoked for the first time in 8 years.

On the first two or three days maybe, but after that, it's working out well.

I quit cold Turkey Jan31 of this year.
I did have some light headedness after the first few days yes.
I think it was due to "real" oxygen getting to my brain. :1orglaugh
took 2 weeks before the cravings went away but after that its all been good.
do expect severe mood changes and being a bitch :helpme
My wife actually went out and bought me cigarettes during the first 2 weeks
because I was such an asshole. Thankfully I did not smoke tho.

4 years of clean lungs this past weekend, and yep, I got the dizzy spells.

They'll pass.

I don't think the urge ever does though. Not entirely. The craving is still as strong for me. It's just not as frequent, or as long in duration.

Thanks for the input everyone... It seems the dizzy spells are more fequent now... If I sit still im fine... but once I move forget about it... Im fucking spinnin....

I quit smoking when I got the flu I just had no desire to smoke it made me sick (i smoked for 2 years) weird way to quit but its true

I'm about ready to go for it soon... I tried several methods in the past but I didn't wanna quit. I was being made to quit.

I'm thinking cold turkey is just the way to go. I'm already doing the whole "After this one" for over a week now. Who knows. It's a hopeless cause :helpme
