For those of you running eBay auctions

or similar templates..perhaps this will help you..

Download: http://www.dynamixxx.com/eBayTC.zip

I coded this for a design client ( www.totalvideogamesales.com ) a few days ago and thought perhaps someone else who puts up auctions or similar web templates could use it as well. Below is a guide for creating your own templates, or simply open my included file (sample.etc) in Notepad or your favorite text-editor to see the setup.

-------------------
CREATING A TEMPLATE
-------------------
*Edit your HTML site replacing fields with tags wrapped with double-brackets (ie. in an auction template replace the product name with {{Product Name}} so that the program recognizes it as an editable field).

*Save the file with the extension *.ETC.

*Load into the application and edit the applicable fields.

*Click Preview or Save to do so.

Nice, we use ChannelAdvisor's Merchant application and it works in a very similar fashion. Using template tags is the only way to go if you are a large volume poster.
