i ban google and other slurpers / spiders from my images/ folders .. I dont need extra hotlinking :) *cough*

any request outside of my webserver.. I find best to redirect when requesting a particular file type.. I have cpanel setup so I can redirect to a particular page.. sorta like a 404 page but you can suggest any spot.
I use a temp dir that mirrors the site
