When Rookiebabe.com was first launched I made a few galleries and got a few sales the first pay period totalling just over $300. The second pay period I made around $150. The first check I recieved from them was for the second pay period...what happened to the first check? So I write them an email kindly asking for payment for the first pay period and am told that payment was sent and that payment had been processed through my bank at "Bank of The West" which is an American bank I assume as I am in Canada and have never heard of it. So I phone Rookie Babe to see what the hell is going on and they fax me a copy of the check with my name PRINTED on the back of it which looks nothing at all like my signature.
So somehow my check got cashed by some fuck into an American Bank account. But my question is how did it get into there and i'm sure if Rookie babe was to call the bank and say to the bank that the check was cashed fraudulantly they would be reembursed and I would get paid and someone would be charged with fraud. it's now been well over 3 months since this happened and I've sent numerous emails to Rookie Babe which they long since stopped replying to.
So how do I get paid? Do I just give up and move on? Does this happen often with affiliate programs? Are there other sponsors I should avoid?

Board drama is the sure way to get paid when all else fails. Assuming everything you say is true and you can prove it.

No this doesnt happen often. Sometimes its better to just take a loss and pay you again, if you are a good webmaster who can continue to send sales.

I checked with accounting and an email was sent to you this AM . As stated in earlier responses to you we needed to have verification from the bank that this was a fraudulently cashed check. Which we received on Fri afternoon. So you will be reimbursed for the funds you did not receive. In the future if you have problems like this it would be appreciated if you contact me directly. I am here to help. You were sent an email on Aug 3rd stating we needed to hear from the bank prior to reimbursing you for the sales. Sorry for the delay.

How could they fuck you if someone cashed the check. Seems to me that THEY were fucked in the process as well.

Thanks April, I was told I would recieve an email early last week which I never did so I figured coming here might sort it out which it seems it did....time will tell. I have recieved payment for every other period without delay and still recommend this program highly I just can't understand whats taking so long for the bank to sort this out as it has been going on since June.

Wished sponsors would talk a little more about the fraud deals they have had to deal with. Problem is they don't want to give ya all ideas! Plus I guess it makes them look bad if they got took..

This is fucking STUPID. If a webmaster sent sales he should be paid, whether he is a "good" webmaster and can "continue" to send sales or not, he should be paid for the traffic he already sent.

ALL webmasters should be treated equally, I understand going on a limb for those that have massive referrals to a sponsor, but for a sponsor to say "well my bad" to a webmaster who stops sending traffic. Just Wrong.

This is not pointed towards the sponsor nor the webmaster in this thread, but to that fucking idiot I quoted.
