How many years is this company in the hosting biz? What are your upstream providers? Are you REALLY multihomed? Do you have BGP4+ routing? Do you offer 24/7 tech support(and not just a cell phone) Are there guys 24/7 in the DC to help me. When hardware fails, how long does it take to replace the MOBO for example.

i've been with e5 for about a month now and am happy with the service they provide. just so this doesn't sound like infomercial-bs, i'll admit theyve worked on a few things that weren't right from the start. i had a couple domains that weren't resolving properly and within a few hours, Frank had things running smoothly. there was another issue with software that i installed via their control panel and that was cleared up within an hour. both times i had full explanations on what was going on and time of resolution. i'd rather a host be straight up and admit they're ironing out minor issues rather than give me the standard "yep, been fixed" reply and me still not having a clue to what caused the screwup to begin with.

you can probably find something cheaper, that's almost always the case if you hunt around. i came from that side of the tracks and personally, peace of mind is worth the small premium; it all depends on your business model. i'm also not huge on getting a thick sales pitch laid on me, which is another reason why i ended up going with anthony @ e5. like anthony already admitted, e5 may not have been around as long as companies like ISPrime or be as big as them, but everyone has to start from somewhere

We do. 25Mbps, 50Mbps, 75Mbps, 100Mbps are *always* sold as full deplex links. All but the sleaziest of providers sell these as full duplex, and I can't say I even know of one provider that still does half duplex ports.

Additionally, we offer 100baseTx FD ports on any amount of bandwidth you choose, that's where bursting and 95th percentile come in.

E.g. You buy 50Mbps on a 100Mbps port, and pay overages if you use more than 50Mbps in a given month.

To clarify what we offer is a dedicated full duplex 100Mbit port on all our 25, 50, 75, and 100Mbit plans.

So for example if you have a 25Mbit plan with www.e5hosting.com we put your serve on a dedicated full duplex 100Mbit port and yes with no other servers connected to that port.
So if you never use over your 25Mbit allotment on your plan the other 75Mbits will just sit their and be available only for your use on your server.

This is what I consider rare in the hosting industry and I do apologize for any miss clarification.
