Playa Flamingo is near Tamarindo, right? I intended to visit Playa Flamingo the last time I was in Costa Rica, but time didn't allow. I stayed at the Paradisus Playa Conchal, which was pretty decent.

Yeah it's close to Tamarindo, a little bit further from San Jose than Tamarindo is I think....

Did you use a tour company for everything if so what was it? And is there internet access there?

Hotel had internet access and there were cafes all over...for the tours, we just took them from the hotel's tour booth.

Actually we had more fun on the ATVs than Canopy, because after you do a few of the canopy lines it all becomes the same...

However there was one 450-foot one where I neglected to brake, so I rammed through the people and almost knocked them off the platform into the jungle, like a bowling ball through pins :1orglaugh

Flamingo is probably my favorite beach in Costa. As soon as ADSL is available, I'll be moving there from the city. :)

i have alot of family from Belize and when i was there, we had one of these as a pet. they are awsome animals! in Belize, they are called a "quash".

We're coming up on our 1.5 year anniversary now...definately my longest relationship by far!

I was a bit disappointed with the Canopy, I was expecting more from it. I still rank rafting as my top activity here right now, with ATVing in second....That will probably change soon as I get the chance to try skydiving or base-jumping though :)
