Any Adobe Premiere Experts here?
 
I just got this program to edit videos like 5 mins ago. I know how to load video...

but for some reason the wmv files are not showing up...

..there is wmv and mpg files in that folder but only mpgs are showing up.

Any one know why??

That looks like an older version of Premiere. My newest version lets me load up wmv files, not the best media to work with in there though.

Adobe Premiere doesn't edit wmv or mpeg reliably. Thoso are low res end user formats, not really editable video formats. It is possible to edit those in other apps or with an expensive plug-in, but they are never going to look great. Adobe Premiere is made to edit DV AVI source video that comes from a mini-DV camera. By those screen caps, it also looks like you an using a way old version of the original Adobe Premiere, by the way. The newest is Premiere Pro 1.51.

So what is the best tool out right now for editing videos and watermarking?

Edit: I will download vegas. Whats the latest version for vegas?

Agree, and yea, if you wanna edit WMV's, you have to load it into AP...and if you're running bootleg software, it's a hassle.
