I Need Some Good Roadtrip Music, Suggestions?

My wife and I are going on a 2 week vacation out to the east coast of Canada. We've decided driving will be more fun as we can stop in several places and come and go when we like.

So I am loading up my Ipod with a ton of music to play in the car. Just downloaded a ton of U2, Tragically Hip and a few other popular singles.

I need suggestions for some good road music, any suggestions? :helpme

get all the pixies albums in there

and make sure that you do not start driving until you have an album called Siamese Twins by Smashing Pumpkins. This is perhaps the best driving album to have , the songs are so well produced that you can not identify any errors whatsoever, it is deep, emotional and very trippy. The basist "Darcy" is extremely hot and she is the most incredible bass player that I have ever heard play.

There's a few I could add to that list...

Adam Ant - Goody Two-Shoes
Billy Idol - A buttload
Depeche Mode - Personal Jesus
Gary Neuman - Cars
Taco - Puttin' on the Ritz
Tom Petty - Refugee
XTC - Dear God
XTC - Making Plans for Nigel

... probably a bunch more :winkwink:

Damnit, why couldn't I have had my adolesence when music was cool, like the late 60s? No wonder the hippies were fucking everything in sight... they had great music to get busy to! :thumbsup

tenderobject 08-14-2005 12:19 AM
