It hit the 1$ mark here too ... normally we were always a little cheaper then the rest of the province (because of ontario prices).

somebody do something!!!! GAS prices are kicking me in the ass. It has become so bad ppl are stealing gas in my area they found a way to do it by breaking the bottom of the gas "thing" and unscrewing some stuff...if this keeps up ppl are going to riot and the end of the world will come

Oil is on a serious upward trend... and we're not talking some induced crisis because OPEC turned off the taps like back in the day, we're talking a genuine capacity issue now. There won't be anyone to flood the market with cheap oil later on.

Eventually it'll become economically feasable to bring new sources online, which will 'level off' the prices... but the day of the $20 barrel is gone gone gone.

Which, of course, means fabulous riches for people who get out ahead of the trend, investing in alternative energy sources or getting in on companies that improve reclamation technology... like people working on methods to improve cracking of tarsand and oil shale. :thumbsup

When I need gas in my vehicle I fill it up. It costs whatever it costs. I don't even bother looking at the price.

Damn costs me 2.65 for 9/10th's and It costs about 45.00 to fill up and I can get 200 miles per tank :-x

WOW , must be nice to be you :thumbsup I always get the cheapest shit available.The Retailers in the greater Toronto area are playing games, if you go out after about 7.30-8pm , they usually lower the prices by about 3-4 cents a liter for a few hours. Its been going on for a couple of months now. Check it out sometime :2 cents:

It's around USD 1.60 / L here now. Will get higher. But i don't run around in circles and think the heaven will fall for that. I never use more than $100 in gas per month anyway. Why do you need to? Get a cheaper car.

in .au i pay AUD$1.08-1.18 per/l for 98 octane premium. 91 standard is somewhere between .96 and $1.08.

depends on what you drive... ever taken off a engine head and see what that 87 shit does to it? Especially people who run modified cars like I do.... turbo's and aftermarket engine internals require 93 or you'll blow something easily.
