So say you forgot to place a lock on one of your domains and someone transferred it away from you. What can be done to get the domain back or the domain becomes the property of the new party once it is transferred away?

call your registrar asap!
if you can prove ownership you might stand a chance but it depends on which registrar you had it with

that sucks. never had it happen did it expire?

it didnt happen to me, im just asking in theory, because the somewhat new icann regulation pretty much allows people to steal the domains from others..
