How to uninstall Autogallery SQL
I am trying to upload a clean copy of autogallery sql which was previously installed on the site. I deleted the site from cpanel, re added it, and uploaded the nescessary files. However, I am getting a 500 Internal Server Error when opening init.cgi. Is there a certain server file that got created the first time I installed the software that I need to delete?

Did you upload in ASCII mode and CHMOD the nessescary files?
Happened to me once and it was fixed when i uploaded it in ASCII mode. |
I uploaded all of the files in ASCII mode I know I installed it right with the permissions and everything as I have done it several times. I just think I might have deleted the older version wrong and left a file on the server for some reason but dont know where or what. Could be wrong.

...uploaded in the cgi-bin right?
|
Sounds like a chmod error perhaps?
|
Yes updated in cgi-bin with the listed permissions:
File or Directory Permissions All .cgi files (unless otherwise noted) 755 All .pl files 644 scanner.cgi 777 cron.cgi 777 All files in the data directory 666 All files in the templates directory 666 data directory 777 admin directory 777 templates directory 755 Directory where HTML files will be written 777 Directory where thumbnails will be stored 777 When I tried to delete the old autogallery files and reinstall them, I went to init.cgi and it said that autogallery was already configured so then I just deleted the website from cpanel 2086 and recreated it, reinstalled ag, and now get the 500 error |
Did you delete the old mysql database from cpanel and made a new one for the clean install?
|
I think the mysql db's got deleted when I removed the website from the server. I tried deleting and creating the new account again this time with a different login name than before, maybe this will help. Uploading now
