I'm moving to Atlanta this monday!!!

I JUST HAVE SO MANY THING I HAVE TO DO BEFORE MOVING!!

Anyway, I'm going to be studying Management on Georgia Tech on this Fall semester.

So I'd like to know if you guys have any tips about the city for me or any advice at all!

BTW: I still don't have a place to live... :(

jscott 08-12-2005 03:29 PM

I've always liked the city of ATL, very big, cheap flights from & to there, and kinda close to some other cool cities

good luck on the move

polish_aristocrat 08-12-2005 03:35 PM

earning $10k per month and living in Brazil, I'd stick to there instead of moving to the US where life is 8 times more expensive

but that's just me, good luck :)

pornguy 08-12-2005 03:36 PM

I know a great host there, but thats about it.

candyflip 08-12-2005 03:36 PM

Wow. I remember you mentioning that you were going to be doing this a while back.

Congrats on achieving your dream.

AdPatron 08-12-2005 03:36 PM

I'm not.

tranza 08-12-2005 03:40 PM

Thanks everybody!

I'm not actually going to move there, more like I'm going to be living there from August - December. Maybe I didn't make that clear.

But's all good. I'm very happy, that's exactly what I wanted.

I just wish my partner takes good care of my newly open office. That's my biggest concern right now.

candyflip 08-12-2005 03:40 PM

Atlanta traffic is the worst in the US.

Yeah...that's what I'm referring to. My father has an office down there and have trouble keeping employees because they have to deal with that day in and day out.

Someone told me once it's almost like the city is cut into two.

see, the thing is with atlanta, everyone that lives here knows NEVER use that 75/85 highway combo, it is death at certain times...same with the 285

there are hundreds of roads that take you anywhere in atlanta you wanna go, without ever touching the highways here...and most of them are so fast too...

Hey Tranza... I live in an apartment complex that is almost on the Tech campus. Ok, it is between the camous and the new Engineering Building that is going in. I'd be glad to give you the info on the area. Contact me anytime you have a minute.

I can tell you there is a fantastic group of adult webmasters here in ATL. We gather often and have a good time when we do.

I'll be looking to hear from you!

Tranza,

Do you need a part time job while in school? We're in Atlanta and hiring. If we don't have a position for you then we can hook you up with some of the other adult businesses in Atlanta, both web and brick-and-morter.

Either way, drop me an email grinder (at) awtmagazine.com

hey dude, just out of curiosity, what are you hiring for?

Orgasmics 08-12-2005 10:06 PM

Welcome to Georgia. I've lived about 40 miles west of Atlanta for the past 10 years, but (not counting driving through) I've only been to the city a handful of times, lol.

Organsmics, there's someone I haven't seen in forever. We should grab some lunch soon since we're only a couple of minutes apart.

Yep, it's been a couple/few years, hasn't it? I've kind of disappeared into the background for quite awhile... focusing more on family than biz. Got all 3 kids in school now... think I'm about ready for a comeback. ;)

We'll certainly have to hook up sometime soon!

Actually I'm looking for admin people, sales people, someone to do data entry. And there are some other jobs available in the office for people with backgrounds in the adult industry.

Anyone in Atlanta can send me a resume to grinder (at) awtmagazine.com and I'll be glad to look at it.
