Warning page on a freesite...'TO HAVE or NOT TO HAVE'?

Pros/cons in regards with SE traffic, etc.?

What about pornfilters on a free site?

Thanks for the input and :321GFY

warning page, nah, filters yea.
You can avoid showing naughty bits above the "fold" anyways.

Warning pages are good.. some of your most productive sponsor clicks will come from that page if you do it right. :)

if you are looking at it from a legal stand point... a warning page will never hold up in court.

true, but most of the linklists require a warning page.....

swedguy 08-12-2005 05:03 AM

To have, of course. One more page that you can put ads on :)

Sarah_Jayne 08-12-2005 06:32 AM

to have...

I've seen both sides to this scenario and I've noticed the warning page will indeed have more clicks to the sponsor than banners from inside where porn (distraction) is. Good banners are key btw.
