Just announced, the Big E (aka The Next One) will be in the blue and white this year.

Personally, I think they need to focus more on getting some D, never mind Allison, O'Neill, and Lindros .. now they're just older and slower, if that were possible!

(I guess Jr. hasn't learned that in today's NHL, youth, grit and speed are what gets teams to the Cup..)

Ahh Lindros.

Hands down my favorite player through his Junior Career, and up in to the NHL. Yeah it's shitty he wouldn't play for Quebec, but hey, the Avalanche made out like bandits because of it. You can thank him for that dynasty in Colorado.

Anyone remember Lindros in his first Canada Cup? He got in to a fight and everything. That was the thing about him, he could hit, fight and score. He was supposed to be a total package.

Instead, he turned in to a fucking baby with concusion problems. Damn shame. I really hope he can live up to even a fraction of what he was supposed to be, but alas I'm afraid his heart isn't in it and time is working against him now.

He is a scary addition to have on your team.. One hit and he could be done again for a season. Sucks ass since he is so fun to watch play.

Actually, you're too kind - The whole deal was Forsberg, Steve Duchesne, Kerry Huffman, Ron Hextall, Mike Ricci, Chris Simon ... and a Stanely Cup a few years later for the Quebec/Colorado franchise was a result!

He's a goon and a fucken tool. In his jr career he hurt many people with some cheap ass shots. Go figure a team that revolves around dirty play and cheap shots wants that goddamn hasbeen. He got a concussion in practice when he was with the flyers.
