Would you leave ICQ if...
 

GAIM or AIM could leave messages for offline users? ICQ is just awful IMO. WHat are your thoughts about ICQ?

I hate ICQ... but it's the industry standard

i use GAIM and have no problems with leaving messages to offline users.. ?

GAIM is like trillian, its not a different protocol

I cant get GAIM to log into ICQ... I totally forgot about that. So I guess GAIM is better no matter what haha.


Is there some trick to logging into ICQ with GAIM? Keeps giving me a username/password error...

umm nope, no problems here, even with a router

I love ICQ over any other program so far.

I like the phone, but noone else seems to use it.

I have been using 2002 b and really haven't had many problems at all with it.too many people use it for me to change

I use 2001b, no problems at all with it.. I think the older ICQ's progs are stable while the new ones are total trash.

2002b is what I use. :P

i am still enjoying ICQ and it is really needed here.

I use GAIM so I don't care what msgr people are using I have them all loaded in there.

Yeah and its the fastest way to communicate in the biz, and damn they are commonly used...

We don't a have choice here. But speaking of the program itself, trillian works better.
